St. Mary’s Youth Club

Mary Mother of God Church community currently runs two thriving youth clubs for the youth of the parish. These are run on Friday evenings during term time and dates and details can be found here ...click. We are in the process of setting up a new club for our younger children and will keep you up to date with progress. If you are interested in any of these 3 clubs then please see below for more information on all of them.

Due to such large numbers of members attending each week, we have two clubs that are run biweekly to enable as many young people as possible to attend.

Activities include table tennis, pool, air hockey, video games, team games, occasional speakers, trips, contests and tournaments.

Just recently we had a pancake decorating competition and 'Best Dressed in Red' contest. We also had a talk on organ donation for our older members. We have a well stocked tuck shop!

Entrance is £1.50 on the door and new members can sign up on arrival (with parent/guardian present to sign forms, for children in year 11 and below).

We also have a small but committed team of volunteers (all of whom are DBS checked). We could not run the clubs without them and are in great need of more parishioners (you don't have to be a parent!) to give as little as a few hours, on one evening, once a term or as many times a term as you wish!

Please contact Emma on the email address provided below, if you are interested.
