Congratulations in advance!!!
On 4 April the Youth Community headed by coach to Hemel Hempstead to spend an evening in the Snow Centre.
Over thirty young people and young adults joined the trip and this made for a memorable, busy and fun time for all those that attended.
The group departed Ponders End at 5pm and after getting kitted out with ski suits, boots, hats and gloves, headed for the slopes around 6pm.
The Snow Centre has ‘real’ snow so our group could have the fullest experience of time on a mountainside. It is a brilliant place.
About an hour of sledging had everyone hot and tired and we broke for some dinner. No time to rest though as the second hour of sledging followed straight after tuck !
Each downward slide had to be followed by a trudge back up the hill so the cumulative effect had our group truly and joyfully weary by the end.
The coach departed the Snow Centre and arrived back at Ponders End around 11pm; laden with tired yet exhilarated young people.
Now that WAS a full evening! Click image to view photos...
